The affected hops are all on ATT's side (with some from PCCW, but I assume this is just a connection point for ATT to use), but because I observed different IPs having similar issues, and these IPs all correspond to ATT services in some way, it seems to me that something is wrong on ATT's side, most likely a latency or routing issue. This area has 0 packet loss in both images I posted, so there doesn't seem to be any fault with my local network (especially when I can still access google). The first 4 hops are the same in both instances, which is my local network and where it connects to. Both these hops correspond to ATT services.įrom my first post, the affected hops are from ATT services and PCCW. I observe packet loss in two hops, but the end result doesn't seem to have packet loss, as before. During this short time period, I was tracing another site (reddit).
